Lynne, this might not count, but I liked the movie Waitress.  Its connection is that Nathan Fillion plays the romantic lead in it.

Of course it counts, Elle!  I bought Waitress in the bargain bin and liked it, especially Nathan Fillion's performance as the hero-with-issues, which he does so well!

I find myself seeking out other works by what I consider to be "Joss actors" like Eliza Dushku in Tru Calling and David Boreanaz in Bones.

And we can't forget Alan Tudyk from Firefly and Serenity was first in A Knight's Tale with Heath.

And while I'm waxing poetic about those cheekbones, here's a clip of James Marsters and Sarah Michelle Gellar from the musical episode "Once More With Feeling" (S6.7) where Spike sings Rest In Peace.

I know that James Marsters plays guitar and has released bluesy CDs.  I couldn't find any of his original work on youtube that I thought was worthy, though.

(And if that 'willing slave' line doesn't make you want to fall to your own knees, I don't know what will!)  ;)

he had a rocky band too before hsos olo stuff (which actually I know nothing about) - called "Ghost of the Robot" . I have just one of their songs on my mp3 player that was from when they performed on the sharon osbourne show which was very good. It was called itsa nothing - couldn't find their version on youtube but found I guy covering it... I'll try upoading the GotR version a later date.

(not allowed to embed it)

here are some of the GotR songs I found in you tube.

I saw on amazon that Dr. Horrible is now available (as an amazon exclusive?):

http://www.amazon.com/Horribles-Sing-Along-Blog-Amazon-com-Exclusive/dp/B001M5UDGS/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1230440801&sr=8-1

But I bet it's in whatever format that wouldn't be useful for Europeans.  (Kelda - definitely check and see what you think, tho.)

So I went over to amazon/UK and found a link that allows you to sign up to be notified when it becomes available there:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/qid=1230440594/ref=sr_kk_2?ie=UTF8&search-alias=aps&field-keywords=dr%20horrible%20dvd

I didn't see any info about when that might actually be.  :-\

I think Joss Whedon is pretty amazing. I love his sense of humor. I haven´t seen all of hi movies, though, but mainly know him from Buffy.
I never met him during my Buffy years, but I have meet James Marsters several times and have been to most of his concerts he´s done in the UK.He, too, is great  :-*
