I don't see why they cannot accept the bald puppy and get another one from a shelter or something (as long as it is suitable for Obama's girl). The White House is big enough for two dogs, isn't it? Heck I've seen people living in smaller houses and have no problems with having two dogs. Why can't they?

I believe the breed is called a Chinese Crested. Not my type, but some people adore them. They have a quick temper though and not good with children from what I've heard.

Anyway, who knows? Perhaps the Obamas will adopt one and he (or she) will be the new American First Dog! :)
