Good luck to all who are in the process of looking for new jobs. This economy sucks big style, it makes me think how ever much I loathe my job, at least I have one.

I have you all in my thoughts in these difficult times.

I recently saw this thread mentioned elsewhere and had to ask what it was. Sheriff Roland explained and gave the link. I was so saddened to read about the hard times several of you are going through. It gladdened my heart, however, to read that there's light at the end of the tunnel for some of you. You are all in my thoughts and I hope you find work real soon. Take good care, everyone. I'm sending lots of loving good vibes to you all from Australia.  :-*   :-*   :-*

Isn't it just fun as all get-out to twist in the wind for weeks?   ::)   Sigh.

Hay, I like being a lady of leisure for a change! But oddly, I am busier than when I was working! When you have a job, you have a built-in excuse to get out of things you don't want to do. Plus, now my friends call me up and say, "Since you have extra time on your hands, would you..." and it's hard to say no!!

The good news is that everyone else in my family is working, a complete 180 from the way things were two months ago. Yay!!

Everyone, feel free to complain, bitch, and moan here even if you do have a job. I often wonder who has it the worst, those who get canned, or those who survive and have to keep working at a heartless, greedy company!

With all the stuff you are doing, have you been to climb Mt. Washington yet?

No, it is now mud/slush season on Mt. Washington, no good for climbing!! Plus the Dept of Labor would not take kindly to me being out of range of a phone call to rush in for an interview...like I'm getting any such phone calls!!  :-\
