And Penn added against anti-gay sings:
We got to have equal rights for everyone;... gays marriages will be in the USA!!

      Sean Penn wins Best Actor Oscar for 'Milk'
Follows Dustin Lance Black's Best Original Screenplay award

Sean Penn has won the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in the Harvey Milk biopic "Milk."

In his acceptance speech, Penn spoke of the supporters of Proposition 8, the ballot initiative that successfully banned gay marriage in California. He said he hopes they "... anticipate their great shame and the shame in their grandchildren's eyes if they continue that way in their support."

"We've got to have equal rights for everyone," he said.

Penn's "Milk" win is preceded by that of Dustin Lance Black, who won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay earlier in the evening.
