John, thank you for finding and posting that gem just written by Gary Jules.  I like so much that he wants to give credit where credit is due, including to himself, but only as much as is justified.

Sweet man. Sweet voice.

Very nice!

In re: finding the original Darko  video--well, I hope so, but the 'Director's Cut' version dominates. Again, good luck--except in this  instance, you'll need it.

OK John -

I'll have to thank Netflix for finding this for me....I don't know if I remember the Director's cut enough to know the difference.  Thanks!!!

Hey Sel -

Where do you see American Idol since I think you're not in the US?  Or did you see the Adam Lambert clip on the web?

I watched it with my mom, who keeps saying how good Adam Sandler was!

Hi YaadPyar,

I have watched Adam Lambert's clip for the first time on this thread, and very glad I did! On Italian TV I follow X Factor (tomorrow the semifinal) which I think is a similar programme. The contestants  sing both in Italian and in English.

Slightly off topic now, but this was an amazing surprise from Britain's Got Talent.  Give it a click if you've got a minute.

So interesting to know what's floating around out there.  I wish we got the broad distribution of pop culture from other countries here as well....

This lady is amazing! IMHO we need more shows like that where people are given a chance regardless of their age, look or background. Talent can be anywhere.

I love that song---and she sang it very beautifully. Too bad American Idol has a cut off age of.....30, I think.
