The New Natural Wonders of the World

More than 250 sites are in the running to be named among the New 7 Wonders of Nature, as part of a three-year contest whose winners are expected to be announced in 2011. Here are some of our favorite contenders.

This is a slideshow of 20 or so of the natural wonders vying for the 7 spots. Have you seen any of these in person? I have not. Not even the Grand Canyon! But there are a lot of beautiful sights to see in God's world of nature!

I would agree with all of them except the Chinese river and the Bikini Atoll...

the Chinese river is the third longest...why have it in there when the Amazon is number 1? and Bikini Atoll is more of a man made thing than a natural..

but all of them are gorgeous
