The cone shape in the top of the picture reminds me of one of those anglepoise desk lamps, I'm not sure they come in glow in the dark options, but that's my shot in the dark !

Ooh, that is a very strange pic, David. I'm getting a weird op-art-like reaction from it. When I stare at it, it seems to move - or sorta shimmer.  :o

I'll guess it's your neighbors (solar?) driveway lights.  :D

I also voted for your neighbours' driveway lights.

I believe to see the top of your terrace railing at the bottom of the picture. This excludes Cody as a possibility because you should see a shadow of his body if he were leaning over the railing (this, and I think Cody was ducking and hiding somewhere during the whole storm, and not being outside).

I also rule out everything supernatural because it simply doesn't exist period.
I guess it could also be the very last glow of a flash, but I'll stick with the lamps.

Yes I get the same effect when I stare at it...it seems to move and the edges sharpen up for a bit.  I think it's too close to be the neighbour's driveway lights but I guess you could do a zoom on them.

I also voted for your neighbours' driveway lights.

Yes it does look like the last of a flash on a window but it's not quite the right shape, I don't think.

I'm gonna vote for your neighbours' lights though.
