I guess you could say I've got it bad...don't know if anyone else is as pathetic ::) as I am but I hear Ennis and Jack's story in so many songs that come on the radio when I'm driving.  So I decided to burn a CD of songs that remind me of Ennis and Jack and Brokeback in general.   This is the list I have so far.  What do you think?  What would you add....

"With or Without You" by U2
"In Your Eyes" by Jeffrey Gaines (Peter Gabriel cover)
"Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac
"Hanging by a Thread" by Nickel Creek
"Falling Down the Mountainside" by David Gray
"Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow
"Desperado" by The Eagles
"Angel" by Sarah McLachlan
"Hearts in Armor" by Trisha Yearwood
"Color Blind" by Counting Crows
"Better Days" by Josh Joplin Band
"I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlan
"Have a Little Faith in Me" Jewel
“hero” by Phil Collins and David Crosby
"The Book of Love" by Peter Gabriel

If you want to explore the playlists over the past month of BBM Radio for some ideas, you can find them on the Brokeback Mountain Radio forum.  Meanwhile, I might steal some of your ideas as I expand the station.  I'm adding new music to freshen things up.

Steal away Phil, I'd be honored to know that I contributed the inspiration for a few of your new choices.

And Brandon I haven't heard that one yet I'll have to check it out...Thanks

LOL, yes Brandon, I never would have listened to country before... a song like "The Devil's Right Hand" would have made me role my eyes, now I crank up the radio and sing along!  ;D
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

May I make 2 suggestions?

1) Catalyst by Anna Nalick

2)  Dallas  by Holly McNarland

Catalyst has a phrase or 2 that aren't a perfect match for the movie but I dare anyone to say the feel of the song and the melodies aren't perfect.

Dallas fits what I imagine Ennis would have been thinking if he ever found out about Randall.

Let me know if you check these out.

Catalyst is a particular favorite.

Paul

Oh and Victoria?
