David I couldn't help reading about your dilema and agree with Geri. I travel a lot and can tell you that when I travel to places i would like to experience the culture and sites of where I am traveling to.

To you, Indianapolis may seem boring but to your freind it is a whole new world! Just be yourself, and maybe you too will re-discover some of the fascinating things about where you live.

Well, your use of the word "fascinating" might be a little bit of an overkill, but there are some things to do here.

I think Alex likes museums, and we have a wonderful Native American museum (Eiteljorg). He has already expressed an interest in visiting the Eiteljorg museum. I don't know about the Indy 500 museum though. I don't think he likes car races... I know I don't.  :P

I am planning to take him to some of the local haunted houses here. Thanks for your help!  :)

lol
I think David you should put on the BBM dvd and half way through it do the "yawn thing" the one where you raise your arms in a stretch and one comes down and ends up around his shoulders. Maybe you won't have to leave the house after that to showhim the American cultures... You can give him a tour right in the comfort of your own house!!!.

Actually, Alex will probably try the "yawn thing" before I do. He did it once to me in Florida at the movie theatre.  :)

Current Weather in Indianapolis: Breezy and Clear   Temp: 50 F (10 C)

Ooops!  :(

A friend of mine just called me and asked if I will be ready at 9:00. I made plans to go with some friends to a haunted house tonight and I forgot all about it today.

This haunted house is called "Necropolis" and it is suppose to be very scary. Actually, it is a series of haunted houses (three of them) and one of them has a huge maze in the middle of it.

I just don't know if I'm ready for this. The Indianapolis Star rated this haunted house as five stars (extremely intense).  :(

I need to get ready (in more ways than one).

In lieu of flowers and gifts, please send me hot, sexy men willing to cater to my every whim and desire. I prefer the Heath Ledger, Tim Daly, and Brad Pitt types.

David,

Indianapolis is definitely on my list of cities to see.  I am into college basketball big time and would love to see an Indiana-Kentucky game in the Hoosier Dome.  Indianapolis couldn't possibly be as boring as Cincinnati or Louisville so I will be there someday.  What I really want to see is Chicago.  The metropolis of the great MidWest and I have never been there.  I have been in Washington D.C., Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL and even Phoenix, Arizona but not Chicago. Since I consider myself a part of the heartland I think I have an obligation to get to Chicago some day.  So both Indy and Chicago are on my must see list.
