Do MUCH Richard.... do much.....

I'm planning to.

But I plan on mixing my material gifts with less material ones.... (ie myself).
Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

Oh GOD ya'll!!

I just walked into the kitchen and I stepped on a dead mouse. My cat must have killed it.

It's head went in between my toes.  :P

Damn it.

Good night. I think I'm going to puke.  :P

I just can't believe this....

This one time, I stepped on a dead frog. Eeuuww! A shrew got in through my basement and my cat, Del, caught it, and brought it up here where they chased each other around in the middle of the night. It finally crawled under the refrigerator and died.  :(  The cats usually are on the catch-and-release program with meeses but fortunately it's outside. (Cats really do love to play with mice.)

Anyway here in Minnesota we love to talk about the weather. I haven't listened to the forecast for today but it's currently 28F at 8am.

If the standards on this board have been lowered, then we should be seeing somebody's ass !

So maybe 6 or so years ago (when our dog was still a pup) we took him out for a stroll through the local (and quite old) cemetary.  We did this primarily because we could let him run off-leash there.  He is the sweetest most loving animal.  Everyone and thing are his best friends...cats, other dogs, strangers (especially those with food).  He would never hurt a flea.

As we were walking, he bolted.  We couldn't tell what it was he was after, but asumed it was probably a squirrel as there were lots of trees there.  After vain attempts to "command" him to stop, we ran after him.  We came over a small hill and there was Rupert...straddling a woodchuk and holding it firmly in his bared teeth and shaking violently.  I was absolutely stunned at my darling boys behavior.  That woodchuck was never so happy to see two humans run up to it.

Moral of the story:  We're all animals inside...

Once years ago I went for a walk in the woods with my dog, Sidatha Guitarma, and she wandered off. A while later here comes this big buck just gettin' it thru the woods as fast as he could go and Sidartha right behind him, I have never seen an animal as happy as she was that day.
