2001 Mazda Protege, black.

Pluses: moon roof, 6-disc CD player

Minuses: cracked windshield, scratch and/or dent on every quarter panel (not all of them my fault!)

My apologies to the rest of the world that is on the metric system, and pays more for gas in general.

Ok, I was curious and did the maths.

1 gal = 3,79L

You pay $1.97 for 3.79L, this means 0.52$ for one Liter. ---->

We pay (currency converted from Euro to USD) 1.52$ per one Liter, that means 5,76$ per gallon.

What gas prizes do the American militaries stationated here pay? Do they have their own gas stations? If so, my next husband will be American  ;)

I will think of you next time I fill up gas  :)

Just to make y'all feel a little better, here are current UK petrol prices...

Per litre
0.85 UK£ = 1.26 Euro = 1.60 USD

Per gallon
3.22 UK£ = 4.78 Euro = 6.06 USD

That's quite some rip-off, dontcha think??  >:(. And bear in mind that petrol here has recently come down in price!!
