Yeah Mel......I just felt this overwhelming sadness come over me after reading this last chapter. Just too much pain, so much healing to do  :(

I need to do some happy stuff now.

Amy, noooooooooo!  :'(

I completely understand the direction you had to send this story in, but I am not going to say I wouldn't have preferred an upbeat chapter in which they had run into each other's arms crying and laughing at the same time.

I'm so glad that Jack told Ennis he loves him, hopefully that will give him the strength to work on himself and make Jack believe in a future for the two of them. I know that they have to work on things seperately before they can even contemplate building a future together. But it hurts, damn it hurts!

God this was such an intense chapter.... I am wrecked!

I just got home a little while ago and I haven't had a chance to read this chapter yet. Do I even want to? This doesn't sound good at all!

Oh God:(

Who is Joe Pie?    ???

I spoke fluent Dutch when I was a little boy, but I didn't know what this word meant either Leslie.

Melissa taught it to me.  :)

It does look like it says Joe Pie, doesn't it?

Amy - this was a great chapter - as always. Reminded me of an old movie like "Casablanca" where the hero and heroine love each other but are unable to be together. I'm hoping eventually the hero and hero of "Shades of Grey" will be able to be together.
I don't like to spend a lot of time quoting an author's work back at her, BUT... I do have a new signature line.  ;)

cc33 / Leslie

(P.S.: I don't trust that SOB Hinestrozza  >:(  )

okay, okay, I know Amy has what's-his-name all picked out as Dane,
but wouldn't Ralph Fiennes make a good understudy in case something
happens to the other guy?!!
