I second what Janice said, Mark - that really was a lot of fun - I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading.   :)  I loved all the  'verbal sparring' and laughed out loud when Jack threw that eight of diamonds out the window.  And now Ennis can give "professional" haricuts.

Yep, I did feel like I was there.  I agree with Ennis about "plush" - the Doubletree looks just beautiful, and I can picture the boys sneaking into the pool in the middle of the night for a skinny dip.   :)

Looking forward to Chapter 4.

Thanks, Mark
Marie

Mornin'.

Well, everything I'd hoped for and more.  These two are wonderful with each other.  Ennis experiencing new things, which to Jack aren't new...he still has his Doubletree discount card!  Went to the hotel website...nice place to stay.

Scott was the perfect "barber."  Great scene.  Jack almost helpless; did they ever shave off the moustache? Good banter back and forth... with Scott pitching in at the right points.

Now, time to don the suits and shirts, and head out on the town.  Will be interesting to see them in the club that Charles at Macy's recommended.

Still need the silver, though, for the 25th.  Read the snippet in the DRABBLE thread; great start...looking forward to the full chapter.

Like how you write the narrative in the present tense.  It's like directions for a play or movie, and brings the action forward.

Did find a few things I corrected when I downloaded the chapter.  If you want, I'ld be happy to help beta for you.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the posts. Kinda left the moustache thing open.

I know I'm a terrible typist, couldn't write at all without 'Word', and there's some some typos I need to fix.

Thank you Heath and Jake for showing us Ennis and Jack,  teaching us how much they loved one another.

Mornin'.

Just checking to see how things are going, and how Chapter 4 is going, and how the guys celebrated their anniversary out on the town.  Read the part you posted in the Drabble thread, and did enjoy it.

Thanks.

Evenin', Mark.

Just checking in again, about the next part of the story. Re-read several today.  Looking forward to reading about the guys out on the town in their new suits, and maybe stopping at a club recommended by Charles when they bought the suits.  Always enjoy your stories.

Thanks again.
