So today was the first time for me bowling with the new equipment. The shoes felt stiff for the first game, but after that, they felt very comfortable.
However, I am going to need to "relearn" my bowling. LOL I had many highs and lows for these six games. It was weird. Also, I need to get the thumb hole redrilled. My thumb fit into it, but after the games, I had a blister on my thumb. I need to get the hole enlarged a bit, so I won't have recurring blisters there.
And now, here I am with today's scores.
98 - 120 - 87 - 127 - 104 - 148
Two games that were under 100, and the last game was my highest score since I started practicing again. Game #3 (score of 87) the first three frames were grand total of 11.
The last game (score of 148) I had a turkey. For those who don't bowl, that means I got three strikes in a row.
So, as you can see, I still have consistancy issues. I'm hoping that as I adapt to the new ball and shoes, the scores will steadily improve.
