Well, I'm so glad that those two guys were there last weekend when I bowled. Listening to their advice really seems to have helped!!
Here are this week's scores.
105 - 148 - 89 - 107 - 148 - 169
As you can see, much improvement!!!! This week was the first time since the end of June that I only had one game with a score under 100. It's also the first time since the end of May that I managed to match my prior highest score of 148. Not only did I do that twice, I beat it, and got a 169. I also managed to "turkey" (three strikes in a row) twice.
It's really boosted my confidence, and I feel like I had a lot more control over the game. I also had my first contact with the gay bowling league, our "meet & greet" will be on Tuesday, August 23rd.

Woooo whooooo!!! After today's games, average went from 98 to 127, an increase of 29 pins.
With the "meet and greet" for the league in only 16 days, I only get two more practice sessions. I'm hoping that I've now figured this game out enough to have respectable scores.
The league officially starts their season on Sept. 6th, so I still have a month of practices before the real competition starts.
