Zodiac poster...
« on: October 06, 2006, 08:23:48 pm »
For those interested, early Zodiac advertisement...

No Jake, but exciting none the less.

In related news, I went to see The Departed today and was hoping for a Zodiac preview. I'd read on the internet that it would preview with that movie... but no luck  :-\ Oh well, the Departed was excellent, so it made up for it  ;D
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

Mandy, I've since read that it's now supposed to be shown before "Flags of our Fathers" which opens, I think, in two weeks.

I saw "The Departed" yesterday, too.  I thought it was excellent but slightly flawed.  All the acting was top-notch, as they say, and for the first time *ever*, I thoroughly enjoyed Mark Wahlberg in a role.  I even saw some light in his eyes, Del - they didn't look so much like shark eyes anymore.  Scorsese (or someone) must have really inspired him.  It probably didn't hurt that out of the whole cast, he is the only one actually from South Boston.  Matt Damon was particularly impressive.  I remain convinced that he can pretty much do anything.  Acting-wise, at least.

I completley agree about Mark Wahlberg, I've never had a problem with him, but he's never been at the top of my list either. But he took me completley by surprise here, he stole every scene he was in!

I think Matt Damon may also be from South Boston... or maybe just Boston. But yeah, he was very very impressive.

It's unfortunate the preview will be before Flags of our Fathers... I wasn't planning on seeing that one. But I am obsessed with this movie and might go just for the preview, sad but true  ;D

I think Matt Damon is from Massachusetts, but not South Boston.  His family has some money, and I think he went to Harvard or Yale.  His character in "Good Will Hunting" was from "Southie" - maybe that's what you're thinking?

<--- partly named her son after Will Hunting, so kind of a Matt Damon fan  ;)

Right-click on the "x", click on Properties, and copy and then past the URL (address) into your browser's "Address" line.  Then you should be able to see it.

I really like the poster! Obviously just a teaser one since it isn't coming out for agesss...but all that fog, v.creepy. Hopefully it will a another great Fincher film - I've read quite a lot of negative buzz about the film, hope none of it turns out to be ture.
