Cannot even begin to absorb the obscene misogyny on display when men comment on this story.  >:(

It is boggling and shocking how much some American men hate women and hold them in such contempt.  :o  >:(

I wholeheartedly approve of this change in policy. I know for a fact that there are many men who are not up to the task of serving in combat, and I'm sure there are women out there who can. The way I see it, any capable women we can add to our forces makes us a stronger and safer country. Every qualified citizen should be allowed to serve if they wish. There will be those members of the military that don't like this change. They need to shut up and do their jobs. I work with plenty of people that I don't like.
