Create your own visited map of The United States

This is pretty empty...

Looked pretty empty all right...I've visited Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Hawaii.  Not much...

Hawaii counts for like 10 or 12 states in my opinion min. Not too many people have a chance to visit Hawaii! :D

A conversation with Fritz on another thread reminded me of this one and I thought it's time for an update.

visited 15 states (30%)

Not bad for someone who had never been to the US before BBM.

Our Brokie train trip last year spanned 7 states, 5 of which were new ones for me.

The first state I visited was Florida in 1991 - I was 13 years old and went on holiday with my aunt and uncle. It was my first time on a plane and it was HUGE for me. My next visit wasn´t until 2003 (at age 25) when I went to New York. 2006 I visited the west coast for the first time (California and Nevada) and in 2008 I jumped on a plane to Denver to meet up with Brokies. The rest is Brokie history.

5 other states I´d like to see are North Dakota, Alaska, Kansas, Vermont and Michigan.

Not Indiana, Monika? You don't want to visit Indiana? I noticed you've been to Illinois, so you were almost here! Illinois is right next door!

Not bad at all Chrissi! You've been to both coasts, and all up and down the Pacific coast! Poor Idaho though. It looks so lonely not lit up. You went all around it!

Maybe you can visit Idaho the next time you come stateside! They have wonderful baked potatoes there! ;)

Yup! Indianapolis is the capitol Monika! I am impressed! 8)

You really should visit here sometime though. Seriously. We have lovely Lake Michigan and Amish Country up in the north, beautiful rolling hills, forests and rivers in the south and the bustling capitol city of Indianapolis right smack in the middle. There's lots of good food, wonderful museums, several excellent zoos, lots and lots of shopping and plenty of friendly hospitable people to welcome you. It's not the most exciting place in the world, but it's worth checking out - a day or two at least as you're passing through. ;) 8)

Put it on your list! :D

From your description Indiana sounds similar to Pennsylvania ( a state I liked very much).
