« on: April 06, 2006, 12:52:44 pm »
From today's IMDb.  Sounds like a hit to me!! [sarcasm]

'Crash' Coming to the Small Screen

Oscar-winning racial drama Crash is being adapted for the small screen and will appear on televisions across the U.S. next year. The movie version starring Sandra Bullock, Terrence Howard, Matt Dillon and Don Cheadle, won Best Picture at the Academy Awards in March. The film's producer Cathy Schulman says, "I hope it will air in the next year. "The actors from the film will show up. Don Cheadle is a producer and will also be on at least a few episodes. "We'll see about everyone else."

it was originally a tv series and presented as one to the networks, but turned down.  that's when they decided to make it a movie.   ::)

Really?  I hadn't heard that.  But it makes sense (that they turned it down, I mean) - what else are you gonna do after two hours?  Although as others have said, a made-for-TV movie would have suited the superficial content just fine.

I for one will never watch it - there is no interest on any level with the movie or the tv show..................................

I'd like to see a Brokeback series showing their entire first summer on the mountain.

That would be cool...if it didn't turn out like a reality show on the Logo network.  :-\

Don't worry, I think first and foremost they're killing themselves...
I've learnt that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in!

I am all for a TV series:
1) It will show all the "Crash Heads" how crap and tacky their film really is.
2) I live in the UK so I wouldn't have to watch it and
3) Well I don't really have a three, but it is always good to have a three, evens things out a bit. ;D

LOL. I'm getting the impression that the "Crash" folks are TRYING to kill us!! LOL
First, they send their Director's Cut out the SAME day that BBM comes out. Then LA names April 4th "Crash Day" (give me a break!). And now this awful tv show business. It's like...do they ever give up? Why are they dragging this out for all it's worth and making our lives miserable? LOL
