You and me both, this is one of the few I'll literally drop everything to read... the only one I've ever snuck a read while at work, too  :)

Now, I'm terribly flattered.  Minch, you know how much I admire your work and it warms my heart that you enjoy mine.

I'll Be Seeing You: http://baileymoyes.livejournal.com/87502.html#cutid1

Chapter Thirty-Six: Waypoint
A Brokeback A/U diverging from the original at the time of Ennis’s divorce.
Rated: R for language, adult themes.
Disclaimer: I have borrowed these characters from Annie Proulx and the fine actors that portrayed them on screen.
My profound thanks to Jean.

Life, so they say, is but a game and we let it slip away.
Love, like the Autumn sun, should be dyin' but it's only just begun.
Like the twilight in the road up ahead, they don't see just where we're goin'.
And all the secrets in the Universe, whisper in our ears
And all the years will come and go, take us up, always up.
We may never pass this way again.
We may never pass this way again.
We may never pass this way again.

Dreams, so they say, are for the fools and they let 'em drift away.
Peace, like the silent dove, should be flyin' but it's only just begun.
Like Columbus in the olden days, we must gather all our courage.
Sail our ships out on the open sea. Cast away our fears
And all the years will come and go, and take us up, always up.
We may never pass this way again.
Seals and Croft, “We May Never Pass This Way Again”

I know, me too. Aren't you just proud of him? I feel like he's come such a long way.
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

Seemed to take forever.  The whole time I was writing, I was telling myself, "Keep going; you'll get to the good stuff eventually."  ;)

Hi Jack.  Glad to hear you're sticking with the boys for the whole journey.  Thank you for saying it's beautiful.

Is the problem with the link something I'm doing or not doing, do you think?  I'm not very knowledgeable about things like that.

Anyway, I'm flattered that you persevered.  :-*

Seemed to take forever.  The whole time I was writing, I was telling myself, "Keep going; you'll get to the good stuff eventually."  ;)

This story was really hard to read in parts. But now it's all good. And how good it is, like Mandy already said.
Other than many readers, I was proud of your Ennis from the moment on he went to AA the first time (although I could have slapped him on the back of his head for Jack):

Quote
From chapter three:
Ennis stood up and did one of the bravest things he’d ever done in cold blood. “Howdy,” he said to the men and women on folding chairs. “My name’s Ennis Del Mar and I’m an alcoholic.”
