As many of you know the briliant Sheyne posted a couple of days ago that she had a dream about all of us from C.T meeting up to celebrate Brandons 21st Birthday.Brandon had the idea of the cast reinacting it on stage, which I thought was a briliant idea. But as Sheyne pointed out that it was very unlikely to happen, so she suggested that us Tremblayans reinact Brokeback.
I have got way too into this and wont actually accept that this will probably never happen but I like to live in my own dream world...but just tell me if I get to over the top with all of this, cause once I start organising you can't stop me!
Anyway after a few suggestions and a few arguments we have come up with a small cast list:

Paul - Ennis(reunion scene)*
David - Jack (reunion scene)*
Victoria - Alma
Brandon - Ennis (cherry cake scene)
Celeste - Mrs. Twist*
Sillysnake - Mr. Twist*
Ray - Ennis (flashback hug scene)*
Sheyne - Jack (flashback hug scene)
David - Jack (matin' call scene)*
Becky(me)- Alma Jr (both young and old. I want to wear the baby clothes LOL)
Front-ranger - Sheep herder #1
Flashframe - Cassie*
Stacey - Lashawn
Courtney - Tootie
Lureen - ??? (in negotiations with Mandy, Kelda and Ray)

*= no confirmation, in the case of Sillysnake none needed, but what we will need is some of Sheyne's cholroform!  ;)

These are the parts people have been nominated for, if they could confirm them that would be great. But we still have alot of parts to cast.

Auditions are open for the following:
Joe Aguirre
Waitress
L.D. Newsome
Randall Malone
Monroe
Basque
Chilean Sheepherder #2
Jolly Minister
Timmy
Bartender #1
Biker #1
Biker #2
Announcer
Bartender #2
Fayette Newsome
K.E. Del Mar - Age 11
Jenny Del Mar
Farmer #1
Farmer #2
Judge
Bobby Twist (no acting experience required)
Roughneck #1
Roughneck #2
Carl
Killer Mechanic
Grease Monkey
Assailant
Jimbo the Rodeo Clown
Guitar Player {I am sure our resident Jack Johnson look-a-like could play these parts}    Singer
Western Dancer
Young Mexican
Signal Bartender
Bar Patron
Elizabeth(the second girl who walks behind Jack when we see him for the first time)

Auditions are starting now for any of the parts above, please state your name, age and the part you want when auditioning and our pannel of judges (just me at the moment, but contact me if you think you are judge material) will decide what parts you should be cast as. People may nominate others as long as they tell the person that they have nominated them. People may double up roles if they have a small part, but make sure your characters never have a scene together, we don't want people talking to themselves now do we?

I am getting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to into this, but it is fun! ;D

You need to distinguish between Davids... I am David, too, you know!  Hehe...

I'd rather someone else nominate / ascribe me a part... but I request that once all of the casting is done and everyone has a part that we do some sort of subtitles thread where we go through the entire film where each person has to say their line, hahaha.  You know, like in High School Freshman English when you read Romeo and Juliet and you all had a part and had to read your part aloud... kind of like that.

Now that would be fun.

I'll be Randall.  That way I get a piece of Jack without all the heartache.

Ooh.  Good call.  However, if we're merely re-enacting the movie, he never gets to touch Jack.  Will you be satisfied sitting with knees *nearly* touching?
No more beans!
