I ran into a difficulty with the bar thing so the bar thing is going to have to happen Monday.

But I am loosening up the tight time framing I had been doing - this shouldn't be quite so much of an issue to get from Day A to Day B, which was driving me bonkers with "The Red Stallion."  So many characters, so much action to coordinate.  No wonder my pressure was up!

Louise,  I know you are ahead of us on the Time of day, but isn't today Monday there too?

it is Monday in Germany, yes, but it is still Sunday at the end of the Laramie Saga where Nick went home from Dupree.

The story ended on Sunday, October 28 (except for the epilogue) which is when Nick and Dupree woke up together in bed.  Dupree's date with Paula is Sunday night.

Chapter 125: The Morning After the Night Before

(Sunday, October 28, 1984)

That is where "Dupree's Choice" begins.

I commented on your journal, Louise, but just want to say here that I'm looking forward to hearing more about Dupree and his life because he was one of my favourites way back when I was reading the LS.

*facepalm*

He has become THE #1 fan favorite of all of my OC's once he took a more leading role in the last book.  Maybe it was the rescue from the fiery crash... maybe it's his unbeatable physique.  Maybe it's his sexual insecurity and virginality and his vulnerability.  I don't know - I just know that my mailbox and my stats counter was not the same once he became a main character!

I wish Milli would repost the original pic of Dupree in his army fatigues.   <hint hint>

 ;D

Until then I'll just have to post this picture of Nick Sampson.

From what I've heard, Army, Navy and Marines don't usually get along.  Too competative I guess.

I'm sure glad that Dupree isn't pigheaded like that.   He sure seems to appreciate Navy Semen  Seaman.

David! You need to keep a dicktionary dictionary by your side when you're typing.

I was surprised, and delighted to see this up so quickly.

Yup Louise, you have created a popular character in Dupree.

You'll have us pestering to write a six book saga devoted to him now

What a great start, Louise!  I mentioned on the E&E board that I love Jeremy and Nick.  But I'll say it again - I love Jeremy and Nick.

Looks like Nick has his own issues to deal with regarding coming out - very interesting.  Maybe Jeremy and Nick can help each other!  :)
