I can't help but feel sorry for Paula and I wish Jeremy had been able to tell her the truth but I can totally understand why he can't (yet).

Can't wait for that phone convo...... :P

Thanks for pming it, Louise  :)

 Hi everyone,

I haven’t read yet last chapters (couldn’t get to LJ too) but read all interesting spoilers at least.
Can somebody tell me please before I start to read  how big the age different is between Paula and Jeremy??? I don't remember well, she is a lot older, right?

She is starting to appear as an moving human being stepping down from her pedestal or, maybe better said, stripping down her selfprotective shell

She picked up her handbag once more, holding it like a talisman. A woman with her own career, her own money, her own direction in life. Reaching out to a new colleague, an ally – a friend.

And if he takes me in his arms and rips off my dress I won’t say no.

I love her characterization Louise

Paula is 32 and Jeremy is 26,  I believe.

Oh,  she's got courage, gumption, anything, to take Jeremy for date and wish for his attack ...   :)
but as she thought - there was nothing to lose

One of my girlfriends who is 32 had a relationship (up until recently) with a 22-year old man.
She loved him an' all but the age thing kept nagging at her until she ended it!
If it wasn't that Jeremy is already spoken for, I wouldn't object to Paula wanting some action of her own from him ..  8)

"And if he takes me in his arms and rips off my dress I won’t say no."

In your dreams sunshine!

OK It looks like Jeremy is queer and has succumbed to the sexual magnetism of the adorable Nick!

Nevertheless I feel that Janice, Paula and Tatiana have let the side down badly. These girls are all tense, demanding, scratchy, neurotic and downright intimidating. No wonder Jeremy has run a mile. Too bad he didn't meet up with another kind of woman - tender, good humoured and sexually experienced - probably a bit older than him. Then at least he would have had a fairer idea of what he was turning down!
