Sorry Louise.   Ya know we all have this vision of a hot and sweaty Nick running around town all frustrated about his parents.     Now that he has met Jeremy he wants the whole world to know!

That plus we are all thinking about poor Jeremy at work.   Snipped at by Ellery, dreading his meeting with Paula and still longing for Nick.

Will they cross paths?     Will we see Duprees Police car pull up to a stop sign as Nicky runs past?   Or will we be teased by having him proceed through that intersection and have Nicky jog through it 10 seconds later?

yes but David, we covered that.

Licky Nicky is trying to get tested for AIDS, and in those early panicky days, BJ's were considered a dangerous risk behavior.

Sure - Jeremy is clean, but Nick doesn't know he is... and he isn't about to give up how much he got around in the Navy.

I hope Jeremy realizes some day that Ellery really means no harm, but quite the contrary, help him out. I don't think he'll rub the 80% straight in Dupree's nose. Though then again he could, since he has a sharp tongue. On the other hand, Jeremy is right. Ellery doesn't seem to understand what he is going through. I think Sanchez understands Jeremy better. I wonder now if Jeremy'll continue confiding in Ennis, after Ellery's obvious hints.

True.    I can't speak for what it was like then.   Today however the attitude towards oral sex is it is mostly safe, just don't swallow.   Not unless you are in a monogamous relationship and both people have tested negativ

So one would think then that safe sex was always using condoms and no swallowing.  Sorry to be so graphic.     I'll delete this if it makes too many people uncomfortable.     Better yet,  I'll be at work soon, you can delete this for me if you choose.

my AIDS medical sources say even sucking ain't good - in that place and time, they had no way to gauge the virulity of contagion and oral sex was widely discouraged.

If there are any other gay 80's survivors who want to weigh in... one thing to remember is that Nick is the son of a doctor, and has some of the sensibilities drilled into him about disease from Dear Old Dad.

And I don't find it too graphic, David - anybody else?  After all, we survived "Wedding Tackle."
