no no no.. no cheesy outside-the-bar coincidence run-ins!  I hate coincidence run-ins when I can help it!

When I can't help it, what can I say?
“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

I was just thinking about the last chapter.

Ellery is in the bar, getting ready to leave. He stopped by after work so it might be 5 pm or so?

Jeremy was supposed to meet Nick outside the bar at 5 pm.

Is Ellery going to walk in on their assignation? Hmmm?

L

oooo!   excellent idea!       Ellery walks outside into the blinding snow and sees Nick and Jeremy in a hot steamy embrace!

Ellery: "Good evening Gentlemen.   It seems to be hotter out here than inside I see.   Dupree let me guess, you're just giving this Sailor mouth to mouth resusitation right?"

from this I conclude:

You guys really really miss Ellery.  So my next story after "Dupree's Choice" I will make the "Ellery meets Ennis" chapter, how's that?  Then the reception.

Oh, and there will be two chapters here soon in rapid succession.

I don't think I've seen this picture of Dupree before.

I mean, Nick looks good, but Dupree looks just...just...good god it's HOT in here!!

Is this "Ellery meets Ennis" about the beginning of their relationship from Ellery's POV?

yup.

I am even going to experiment here, I think, and write it in the first person.

I do have some better pics of our Nick, but they require some ...um,  editing to make them g-rated.     He has a nice profile too.

This is great.  I know some people don't like reading stories written in the first person, but I've read a few and liked them a lot, of course it all depends on the writer's ability and I'm sure this'll be as riveting as the others you have written.

update to "Dupree's Choice"

http://louisev.livejournal.com/173080.html  "13.  Jeremy"

SPOLIER

OK -so now I'm confused. Is Nick losing his shine slightly, or is it just Jeremy's nervousness that's throwing me off? I just thought he seemed a little pushy or something. Nothing definate, just something subtle.  :-\

It could be just be because Lance voiced his doubts and we've been discussing it here.  :-\

Mmmm... gonna have to go back and read it again slowly.

Love the idea of and Ellery meets Ennis story from Ellery's POV.  ;D
