O my!  Louise you really marched briskly into new story .   ;)

When I asked yesterday about Nick’s interaction with his father I didn’t imagine in my wildest dream it’s was going to be “ right off” and the way  like poor boy is banging his head against a wall .

I’m seriously curious when his parents’ senses will snap fully,
When he walks in home hand in hand with Jeremy? ( hopefully Jeremy)

Poor Paula, so insecure about her height and look.  Dupree here reminded me of the first time Ennis had dinner with Ellery at Rose Hotel, Ennis being unaware that the waitress had an eye for him.

Yeah, I kind of felt sorry for Paula too while she was dressing. I remember that about Ennis too, although I'll have to go back and re-read to refresh my memory completely.

You ever wish you could just reach into a picture like that and give a good hearty tug and pull those fatigues down?

Spoiler: Chapter 3

Sorry ya can't sleep Louise.  But good for us Jeremians and Sampsonites!

I had to chuckle at the end.   I can remember going places with my parents and having my Mother say: "Didn't you notice that waitress was flirting with you?"

I never did.     :-\

I was always too busy checking out the biceps on the busboy!

Ooo!   Two new words for the Dicktionary dictionary!

Jeremians

One who follows the trials and tribulations of a certain young
Detective in Laramie, Wyoming.  Often seen drooling when
    reading certain Fanfic.

Sampsonite :

(1)  A person with sudden hot flashes whenever they see a
Navy uniform and the sudden desire to play a game
      called "more".

(2) A brand of very durable hard shelled luggage that
can stand the abuse of a Airlines baggage handler
     and a TV commercial Gorilla.

OK,  now where did we leave off?

It is Sunday late afternoon.   Dupree just sat down with ADA Paula.

That means Nick is home getting ready to head out and kill some time.

Poor boy looks confused doesn't he?
