And, yes, "sweet and wonderful" are the best words to describe that chapter!  (Totally unexpected would apply, also!)   

Louise, you've given us these great windows into the different dynamics of the different relationships!  Fascinating! 

Hmm . . . and wondering about other guys chasing after Lauren.  I remember Lauren telling Ennis that he was a virgin when he met Simon.  Are you still taking suggestions for short stories?  What a great one that would make - Simon and Pookie's first meeting - and subsequent 'courtship!'  Just think, there could be a chapter titled "Pookie's First Time!"

Wow - how understanding is Simon. He knows the reality of attraction, that just because someone ignites a brief spark within you, it doesn't mean that you're going to do anything about it, especially if that means ruining a relationship with someone you love.
