Murkins, huh? haven't heard that one before... is it Ennis-speak, Ellery-speak, or louise-speak??

Hey all.  :)

"Dupree's Choice" is over and I barely got to time to cone here and comment on it. Barely got time to read it in fact. RL has been a bit frantic.

I loved the development of the characters of both Jeremy and Nick. I am pleased 'cos for a while I was rather concerned about who Jeremy had got himself involved with. Will we see any more of them in the future? Got a big Laramie shaped hole in my life now.

Moving on, I have to day that I'm really liking the first person perspective of "What I Did on my Day Off". Can not wait to read Ellery's inner thoughts as he get to know Ennis better. I mean, he was fairly sure of his attraction to him very early on wasn't he?

Louise - hope you and Fabienne have a lovely time.

Karen

“Got a big Laramie shaped hole in my life now.” – Kazza

An L-shaped Hole

Got an L-shaped hole in our lives right now
That’s L for Laramie, don’t know how
we’ll all get by without our friends
Just like a diver gets the bends
when coming up too fast for air
the pressure’s much too great to bear

Is Ellery getting cranky now?
What’s Ennis thinking anyhow?
Who is Wayne annoying too?
I wonder if he’s feeling blue?
Is Pete without a spleen afraid?
Who getting drunk? Who’s getting laid?
Is Jeremy getting on with Nick?
And if he is, will Nicky stick?

All these questions and much more
are spinning round, our hearts are sore
We must be suffering some disease
Oh where’s the doctor, where’s Louise?

Answer: Hanging out with Fabienne munching choccies!!!
