Light a candle
« on: December 16, 2006, 07:43:08 pm »

For every candle that is  lit, Bristol-Myers will give $1.00 to AIDS in AFRICA.   Each person can only light one candle.

Hey, it's goodwill towards man.  :D

How do we do this. When I click on a candle a little orange bar appears at the top of the screen with a white dot. There is nothing in the orange bar, and when I press the white dot, the orange bar disappears.

What am I doing wrong? Does anyone know?

I'll try it again later. Thanks for telling us about this!  :)

Thanks for sharing this!    I forgot to write down my candle number though.

It would be great if Bristol-Meyers helped by reducing the cost od the meds for everyone who needs it.

Monthly Meds average about $1100 per person.     Obviously the people in Africa don't have that kinda money.  Hell, I don't know anyone in the US either that could afford it either.

You'd think the Insurance Industry would want to contribute as much as possible to find a cure.  They are the ones footing the bill for the lucky ones who have Health coverage.

eh-hem

Excuse me. How did you all get this thing to work? It doesn't work for me. When I click on a candle, a little orange bar appears at the top of the screen with a white dot on the side of it. Nothing happens. The candle doesn't light but there is always an ad for some medicine at the bottom. I can wait and wait until kingdom come and nothing else will happen. So when I finally click on the little white dot, the orange bar disappears. There is nothing inside the orange bar either. It's blank....like me. I've run out of ideas.

I have NO idea what I'm doing wrong.  >:(

I just tried again and it's doing the same thing.  >:(

I would love to do this, but it won't let me.

I guess I'll have to mail a dollar to Africa instead.   >:(

Don't worry David the donations have already maxed out anyway.  Just mail your dollar to Africa.  ;D
