Here is where I would like to see stories about the history of the American West, the cowboy, and the era of Brokeback Mountain. Geography too!!

Well, now that the holiday season is over, maybe they will.  So far for over a month, it's been the Christ History Channel.  Stories about Jesus, Christianity, Judaism, Biblical archaeology, UFOs in the Bible, the Devil in the Bible, the End Times as depicted by the Bible ad nauseum..

Actually, they have a series 'Wild West Tech' hosted by David Carradine that comes on during the weekends sometimes and Kenny Rogers narrates 'Real West' documentaries that come on like at 7 am weekdays central time in the US that are pretty good.  The era of Brokeback mountain is the 60's.  They usually reserve shows about that time period to the CounterCulture because otherwise, the time period is left-over Eisenhower era America.
