There's a great story there, begging to be told, and I'd love to see Ang Lee do the telling.  :D

Maybe one day it'll come to a cinema near you!   :D

I'm a very patient man. Look how long it took to get the BBM film made.   :D

Many thanks for that info, Melissa.  :D

I think he would do a great job at telling this story! I bet this is the same as with BBM, he passed it on, and then will come back to it years later asking everybody if it had already been made and if he could do it!

I was just on hold on the phone within our company and this song came on that sounded perfect for the radio station.  I googled the lyrics as he was singing them and here they are.  Not sure if it's directly BBM related by the sound of the song fits perfectly.  What do you guys think?

Little Wonder
Artist(Band):Rob Thomas

Let it go
Let it roll right off your shoulder
Don't you know
The hardest part is over
Let it in
Let your clarity define you
In the end
You will only just remember how it feels

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists and turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours
These small hours
Still remain

Let it slide
Let your troubles fall behind you
Let it shine,
Till you feel it all around you
And I don't mind
If it's me you need to turn to
We'll get by
It's the heart that really matters in the end

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists and turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These small hours
Still remain

All of my regret
Will wash away somehow
But I cannot forget
the way I feel right now

In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists and turns of fate
Yeah, these twisted turns of fate
Time falls away
Yeah, but these small hours,
These small hours
Still remain

Yeah, oh they still remain
These little wonders
All these twists and turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These little wonders
Still remain

I think it's awesome!
I don't know about the Movie but it sure says a lot to me! About my life, about this weekend.

My favorite Dusty Springlfield song is "The Look of Love."

I love "The Look of Love" too!  :D

Here are the lyrics (very Jack & Ennis):

The look of love
Is in your eyes
The look your smile cant disguise
The look of love
Is saying so much more
Than just words could ever say
And what my heart has heard
Well it takes my breath away

I can hardly wait to hold you
Feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you
Now that I have found you

Youve got the look of love
Its on your face
A look that time cant erase
Be mine tonight
Let this be just the start
Of so many nights like this
Lets take a lovers vow
And then seal it with a kiss

I can hardly wait to hold you
Feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you
Now that I have found you
Dont ever go

I can hardly wait to hold you
Feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you
Now that I have found you
Dont ever go
Dont ever go
I love you so

Here is a song that Jack might have sung to Ennis
(from Chet Baker)

I Get Along Without You Very Well

I get along without you very well
of course I do
except when soft rains fall
and drip from leaves that I recall
the thrill of being sheltered in your arms
of course I do
but I get along without you very well
I've forgotten you just like I should
of course I have
except to hear your name
or someone's laugh that is the same
but I've forgotten you just like I should
what a guy
what a fool am I
to think my breaking heart could kid the moon
whats in store
should I fall once more
no its best that I stick to my tune
I get along without you very well
of course I do
except perhaps in spring
but I should never think of spring
for that would surely break my heart in two.

Mine too, Lee. And here's what Ennis might have sang, if he was a sinner singer:

They Can't Take that Away From Me - George Gershwin

The way you wear your hat
The way you sip your tea
The memory of all that
No, no, they can't take that away from me

The way your smile just beams
The way you sing off-key
The way you haunt my dreams
No, no, they can't take that away from me

We may never, never meet again
On this bumpy road to love
Still I'll always, always keep the memory of...

The way you hold your knife
The way we talked till three
The way you've changed my life
No, no, they can't take that away from me
No, they can't take that away from me

Hey Lee, here's a little tidbit about your song, "I Get Along Without You Very Well":

"Words by Jane Brown Thompson and music by Hoagy Carmichael.

Composed by Carmichael several years after being given Mrs. Thompson's
unsigned poem by a student at Indiana University.  After an extensive
search, the author was located but she died the night before the song was
introduced by Dick Powell on a network radio program."
