Screw 'em all.  The O (I ain't sayin' it's name) doesn't mean anything.  It's worthless, and it's not even worth predicting who will win, since it's not based on merit.  F*ck 'em all ta hell.  The Academy can take the O and shove it.

My sentiments exactly!

I doubt I'm going to watch the Oscars, but because of my great love for Ennio Morricone I am planning to tape them. He's getting the Lifetime Achievement Award. Bout bloody time he got SOMETHING!

Is anyone from Brokeback Mountain presenting???  Ang Lee, so far, have not made an appearance at any award show to present Best Director.

This is all there is so far...

Presenters at the 2007 Academy Awards will include 2006 Academy Award winner George Clooney (Oscar for Best Supporting Actor), Rachel Weisz (Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress), Reese Witherspoon (Oscar winner for Best Actress) and Philip Seymour Hoffman (Best Actor Academy Award Winner).

It's looking like Jake will be presenting at the SAG Awards.  I've seen no official announcement, but in Entertainment Weekly, their ad includes a head-shot of him among others as being part of the "star-studded" event or some such thing.

He presented at the Oscars last year.  And now that I guess he's an Academy member, they'll probably ask him to present this year.  Again, all part of The Apology That Wasn't.

He could present completely naked and I still wouldn't watch.  If that ain't enough to make you all realize I'm serious, I don't know what is.

No more beans!
