Respond Here to the Picture Slide Show!

Add your comments, thoughts, feeling, reactions, and your own pictures!

There are over 300 pictures in the slideshow! As you know, BBM is open to many interpretations and each song played on BBM Radio could apply to many different scenes and themes. How did the picture show affect you? What thoughts or feelings do you have on the Picture Show? What other pictures would you recommend to add to it?

Members are encouraged to participate and contribute. Feel free to submit your own photos to this thread that pertain to the new songs, and/or to any song on BBM Radio! When posting photos, please reference the artist name and song title as heard on BBM Radio that your photo relates to.

Songs I've heard so far:

Bread – Everything I Own
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad! I couldn’t stop cryin! That sequence of photos of Jack – from hopeful to devastated – just really gets to me. As I’ve said, I think the scene of Jack drivin back to TX is the saddest in the entire film.

Then, the switch to Ennis at the end really got to me again – more tears!!

Chris LeDoux – Bull Rider
I never noticed that cute bearded guy holdin the rope in the first picture!

Don Edwards – Coyotes
Love that picture of the three howlin coyotes!

Dolly Parton – What Is It, My Love?
Another song with great lyrics that sound like they were written specifically for BBM! First time I’ve heard this song.

Patty Smyth & Don Henley – Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough
Yet another song with great lyrics that sound like they were written specifically for BBM! First time I’ve heard this song, too.

Eric, this is so great. MWA! I love "Coyotes." And as others have said, you found songs new to me and already beloved to me that fit so well. Little did I know when I listened to "Behind Blue Eyes" three billion times in my youth that it would mean Jack Twist to me one day. Same for "Without You," one of my favorite songs growing up.

And Milli, Milli, Milli, whoo-ee! That is some seriously high-class entertainment. Ravishing. Thank you so much.

I wasn't able to experience this as intended but just looking through the slides is fantastic - a lot of the created pics and artwork is new to me, and stunning. I will still check out the slides in combination with the music when a new song comes on. Thank you to everyone involved, what a novel concept and so well done. You really did the story proud. Your hard work is more than appreciated. I can hardly believe how cool it is, another way to experience BBM!

That was wonderful Eric.

I just followed the last bit for the second time. Thank you for repeating it once more for us Euros and Aussies. I was able to catch most of it.

You did some awesome work here. The pics matched so well with the songs and the lyrics. I discovered a few songs in a whole new way (Behind Blue Eyes, Everything I Own; never paid attention to the lyrics before and since English is not my native language, I don't have a clue what a song is about unless I listen to it, not only hear it).
And I discovered a few new songs here that I like (Tim MCGraw for example).

I second what nic said, it really is another way to experience BBM. I gave up fighting the tears somewhere along the way...

Eric i didnt get to see and listen to the broadcast, however i have gone throught the
entire thread, from first to last..and loved it...it is so beautiful and soul searching to see

Howdy fans of the BBM Radio Slideshow!

Well, it just so happens I came across some free "slideshow video editing" software, and I am now pleased to announce that the slideshow will be transformed into a new video presentation! Kind of how it was really originally intended to be.

I will even be adding more pictures to the original slideshows, and also creating new slideshows for some of the newer (and older) songs you hear on the station!

With that, here is the first converted slideshow video:

The song is entitled "An Empty Field" by the artist Hammock. It is one of our ambient "mood" tracks we play on the station. This song continues to be one of the highest rated tracks on the station, specifically for the mood and feeling of BBM that it envokes. Setting it to the slideshow, you really understand this and get the feel this.
