As much as i love some of the songs on the soundtrack (commercial soundtrack), the instrumental wins, hands down..

saw my first pistol in the general store
the general store, whn I was 13
thought it was the finest thing I ever had seen...

--(er, written in 1988-89?. ahem...)The opening music, and "The Wings" are..truly great music.

Here's my ADD answer.  I don't really have ADD, but any piece of music lasting over 4 minutes makes me a little antsy, and much of the instrumental songs are 7 or 8 minutes or more.  I also like a real mix of instrumental and vocal, with a personal preference on vocal.

I love hearing a story unfold along with music personally, and it helps me understand why a particular piece resonates with BBM.

Thanks for your interest in my opinion.

I would have clicked on "I LOVE the current mix," if that has been a choice.

I love instrumental music mostly...  especially when it comes  to Brokeback Mountain. But I play violin, cello and Piano... all instrumental instruments. So, perhaps I am a bit prejudice to Instrumental music.

I do love Lonestar, Alan Jackson and Toby Keith though. So I love vocal too. ;)
