Puppy Bowl III
« on: February 03, 2007, 08:41:09 pm »
ATTENTION ALL PUPPY LOVERS!!!

(And Kitten Lovers Too!)

If the Super Bowl and American football isn't exactly your cup of tea, you can still celebrate the moment by tuning into the "Animal Planet" channel tomorrow at 3:00 pm ET (20.00 GMT I think) for the Puppy Bowl III!  :D

It's three whole fun and furry hours of watching adorable puppies tumble, frolic and cavort with each other in a football arena themed play pen. They even have human referees calling "FOUL" each time a puppy has a little accident! The puppies run, jump, squeak, yip and play in front of the television cameras, as happy "puppy" music plays in the background!

For all you kitten lovers, don't you worry because the Puppy Bowl has something for you too! Be sure to watch the "Kitty Half Time Show" featuring nearly a dozen happy kittens pouncing, batting, swatting, climbing and chasing to their heart's content as they explore and play on a huge carpet covered structure!

You don't have to like American football, or even sports to enjoy this folks! If you love puppies and kittens (and even if you don't) you'll love Puppy Bowl III. Be sure to tune in tomorrow (Sunday, February 4) at 3:00 pm ET. Consult your local TV Guide to verify the time in your area! Animal Planet will repeat Puppy Bowl III again at 6:00 pm, 9:00 pm and 12:00 midnight.

Cody (my dog) and I plan to lay on the floor with a bowl of popcorn and watch Puppy Bowl III tomorrow. Cody looks forward to this every year, I think!  :D

Here are some scenes from last year's Puppy Bowl II......

I see that "puppy bowl" advertised but never watched it, after seeing your pictures I think I'll round up all my dogs (I have 6) and make some pupcorn and sit and watch it too!   Looks like it will be very entertaining.  Hope you and Cody enjoy!

Yes! Please do watch it! I guarantee your dogs will love it too!

You might even want to record it. It's fun to pull it out later on in the year and watch again!  :)

I love 'Puppy Bowl'!  I'm not a big fan of football, so two years ago when I happened to find 'Puppy Bowl'..  I was thoroughly entertained by it.  You might be wondering if a pen full of puppies can hold one's attention for any length of time---   well, amazingly....yes!  At least give them a few minutes, and I'll bet you can't turn away from them.  Am I right, David?

don't they switch puppies out every now and again? Seems I remember that..but I may be confused...like the clear water bowls so you can see them drinking! LOL

Yes, you are VERY correct! These puppies are extremely cute and a lot of fun to watch! Like you, I found Puppy Bowl two years ago (Puppy Bowl I) and I loved it. I look forward to it every year!  :D

Is that your dog in the picture? He's gorgeous! He looks a bit like my Cody!

Jess, yes they do switch the puppies out. They also have a few doors they can walk through if they get tired and decide to take a nap. They have plenty of water to drink and lots of loving people to cuddle with them when they are not out on the field. Yeah, I love those clear water bowls too. They stick a camera underneath so we can watch them drink. They call those cameras "Bowl Cams"!

There were only two of them on the mountain flying in the euphoric, bitter air, looking down on the hawks back and crawling lights of vehicles on the plain below....they believed themselves invisible.   A. Proulx
