I'm pimping my own work here but I'd like to invite anyone interested to my LiveJournal account at http://coffeecat33.livejournal.com/

I have a story about Young Jack, drabbles, and a current WIP called "A Different Dream." None of it is light-reading I'm afraid but I'm working on a new story that will be light-hearted.

I am reading "A Different Dream" and I'll pimp it for you. I have a soft spot for Jack not dead afterall fics-in the depths of my BbM pain and attempts to write it away, that is the direction I always headed. Even after all this time I still love it.

Since this is for all your fics, I wanted to step in and pimp your "Random Thoughts" series too... cannon if I remember correctly, filling in the missing bits, but Leslie really has a way of taking on the character's voice, you use first person incredibly well. I love your Young Jack sections and there are parts that I still remember vividly which doesn't happen often in such a small fandom.

I don't know how you missed, "A Different Dream" either, June, but I was wondering why you didn't leave a comment as you usually do. Let me know what you think.

RouxB I agree with you 110% about Jack-not-Dead fiction.

Mandy, thank you so much. "Random Thoughts" is mainly about Young Jack when he was a teenager and how he came to leave home and go on the rodeo circuit. I have some one-shots from Ennis's POV and Jack's POV.

I'm really loving this story and this last chapter especially touched my heart. I'm so proud of Ennis

I enjoyed this chapter, Leslie

but felt so sorry for Jack

and was SO frustrated when Lureen and Bobby came in when they did! I wanted some sweetness between Jack and Ennis *sigh* Wanted Ennis to kiss and comfort him. I felt sorry for Randall too.

Can't wait to see what will happen next, looking forward to it

I would have loved reading about them getting their sweet life together

But thank you so much for ending it in the lovely way you did

I loved it and look forward to LOTS more of your writing
