Yay Kelda! We partied like it was my birthday, drank some sake like it was my birthday, did karaoke like it was my birthday, 'cause it was! I had a blast. Thanks for the sweet photos and well-wishes Amanda, Meryl, Penthesilea and Kelda! It was great to talk to you today too, K. I feel loved and blessed, what more could I ask for?

Thanks F-R and Mel! It's great to get b-day messages--and it turns out brokies were the most prolific well-wishers this year. Though my niece and nephew (5 and 3) singing Happy Birthday to me on the phone was also quite a treat!

I'm continuing the celebration this week so come one, come all! Btw, I was very glad to see yesterday that Brokeback made the list of Moviefone's 25 most romantic movies of all time, coming in at No. 12, a very respectable showing.

Thank you, dear Brokies! It's been a good b-day so far. As soon as I can find my camera in the mess that is moving, I will take a picture to show you my cool digs with Molly the miniature donkey and Patches the miniature horse, along with the four cows, a dozen chickens and 6 guinea hens.

It's so nice to be remembered!
