Have you had a chance to see it on DVD?  It's really interesting (though I'm sure not as powerful as seeing it live... I haven't seen a live performance) and definitely worth renting.  The DVD I saw had a lot of commentary by Ensler about what the project was all about.  Very cool.

Oh..  My vagina is very excited to have found this thread and is more than happy to help reclaim the topic.  It will think of more interesting things to say in future posts I'm sure.

My vagina...is used to being in the shadow of my clitoris, most of the time, the poor thing. Just kind of a repository, but now that I've seen The Vagina Monologues, hopefully I will give it more respect!

Well, David it's nice that you have such a strong interest in the Vagina Monologues.  It's the kind of play that probably more men should see.  I've only seen it once quite a while ago (again on DVD) so I'm forgetting all the details about it.  Some of the stories are amazing (and some really sad!). 

My vagina is somewhat flustered and perhaps feeling more shy than it normally would be, because in "real life" my vagina makes it a rule to only talk to and otherwise interact with girls.  It proudly wears a gold star (and yes Lucise, that's an L-Word reference  ;) ). :-*

I had been invited to see this with a friend a few years ago, but we never made it. Glad to hear I can get it on DVD. Will defiantly check it out.

Has it already been released on DVD? And if not, when can we expect to see it in the stores?
