James n'est arrivé que ce matin; Leslie passe une bonne partie de ses journées chez nous, depuis l'ouverture - probablement parce qu'elle apprécie la compagnie de la clientelle (et naturellement, elle adore me rendre la vie dure avec ses commandes exotiques!)

Naw they just came fer the interview - some busybody milli thought she could pawn off her help from the 5 000 club onta our little bar & grill - but they were just not homely enough

You'll be on yer own again tanight Marlene (It's Jess's night off) - but I'll be around fer a while still.

BTW today's special's Italian veal sandwich served with grilled peppers & mushroom (& of couse, the bean salad!)
