turf = grass eatin beef

No it's quite common in restaurants throughout North America. But since I don't care fer seafood, I've never ordered it. Don't even know if it's actually fish that's bein served or shrimps & the likes - I'll need ta ask Jess - She made the menu!

surf and turf...usually refers to shrimp with a sirloin down here..and yes it is the BIG meal at a lot of restaurants...the one that is the most expensive....
