surf and turf...usually refers to shrimp with a sirloin down here..and yes it is the BIG meal at a lot of restaurants...the one that is the most expensive....

I've also seen some restaurants around here include a lobster tail with the shrimp on their surf and turf platters.

Of course I did!  

He did too, btw.

I read the flight schedule wrong though. He left London at 8:00 am London time. Not 10:00 am. It didn't affect his arrival time here though. Those flight schedures are werid and I get confused sometimes. haha. It doesn't take too much to confuse me!

Alex said their descent into Indianapolis was VERY rough. They really were tossed around as they were landing here.

Poor Alex. I think it shook him up a little.

I had wondered....they are saying ya'll are due for some bad weather...fine if you get snowed in now huh??

BLT = bacon letuce & tomato sandwich

surf = seafood
turf = grass eatin beef

Surf and Turf is common in Oz too.  It's usually a piece of steak with a variety of fish pieces, prawns, calamari, oysters and scallops (not all of them at once though).  And it's usually the most expensive thing on the menu!

BLT here stands for beetroot, lettuce and tomato.
