Beautiful flowers Roland. wow, they are so so lovely, did you know those poppys are heroin producers? I have some seeds too a friend gave me.
Why thank you Janice. As far as those poppies are concerned, don't know what variety of poppies produce heroine, but I'm quite aware that heroine is made from some kinda poppy. These are referred to as ornamental poppies. Got two colours of em - the second one just opened up this afternoon. Also, a third colour that we bought at a respectable plant place did not survive the first winter.
Got yet another variety of poppies that self seed and grow back ev'ry year (they're much smaller, and haven't blossomed yet this year)
