PEPPERMINT????



Hum ... I guess peppermint tea does exist, but I got peppermint growin in my yard (nasty weed) and it looks right dif'rent - grows ta 2 feel easily, so no, this ain't peppermint, sorry.

Janice Nooooooo ... dandelions can be eaten in salads, and apparently make decent home wine, but it looks VERY dif'rent. Don't think it makes tea & I don't think anyone thinks of it as a herb. You'll recognise the herb when I reveal it's name!

I'm learnin somethin here ... I googles an image of the name a this plant, and I'm getting a dif'rent flower. Leaves(?) look very similar, but the flowers are more like a daisy, while my plant(s) only have the yellow center. One thing fer certain, Bryan has made tea with this & it did taste like .... (tomorrow's answer)

I don't know sassafras ... again, I googled an image - seems to have broad leaves - and I think it's a tree, so no, not sassafras

Was gonna give a third hint, but I'm comin up with a blank - tea's without caffeine, but I guess that's true of all herbal teas

You guys are being such good sports - hope I don't frustrate you to the point a not wantin ta participate again ...

In the meantime, the peach coloured poppies came out in great numbers this year (It pays ta move em) In the back yard, I must a gotten near a dozen, and in the front yard, there were nine a em bloomin all at once!
