Was acting like school was out last night - went to bed near 12:30. And now it's past 5 and I have things to do!

However, there are a few pics in the can, so ...

My first anual poppy - from two days ago. these puppies, er I mean poppies pop up wherever they want ... never in great numbers. Last year I got one so full (as in a double) it looked like a rose, but there was a major storm that destroyed that plant and never got a second flower.

Maingy lookiing, I know. Last night, I tried to take a picture of a double bloom (not as full as last year's, but better than a single) but the light was wrong, and they only last a day ... Still I can hope more will pop up.

Ornamental sage in the newest flowerbed (leftovers from what was removed from the vacant flowerbed, and temporarily lodges behind the garage.)
