Hey folks - got another puzzle fer y'all

Have any idea what this plant is? (hint: it's 'fruit' won't happen fer at least another month - and the 'fruit' is uneatable - I think)

This is yet another plant that's multiplying extensively.

Here's the other 'english primrose' dominated area of the front yard. It's where the peonies meet the main flowerbed.

Yellow seems to be the dominant colour in the garden right now.

Never did give an answer to the question about the 'fruit' produced by this plant:

in a couple a weeks I'll start seeing green growths which, in another month or two will turn into near empty orange shell - Plant's called 'chinese lantern'

Check back in late summer & I'll post the 'fruit'.

That looks really different than what I know as a CHinese lantern plant. I'll see if I can find a pic of what I call a chinese lantern.
I was thinking those were may pop's or may apples.

You mean this little mushroom plastic thingie in this flowerbed? It hardly produces any light, below the cap. On top, that's a solar panel.

Here's today's update (3 days in a row?) on the quick bloomin 'Maysville Daisy'

You can see the remains (leaves) of the flox on the lower right, and in the extreme lower right, the leaves of the first type a sedum
