RWYA, Altitude and Liberation by Mel

Hiya all,

This is really scary....! I have been working on a fanfiction story of my own and thought this would be a good time to post the first few chapters...

 :D

Right where you are is an AU story. It starts right after Jack and Ennis have parted ways in Signal and Ennis comes home to Alma. It then moves along to 1965. Ennis is married to Alma. Ennis can't stop thinking about Jack, and he thinks he will never see him again, but fate has something in store for the both of them.

Please bear in mind that English is not my native language and I have never written any stories in English!

I am writing this to alleviate some of the pain I still feel when I think of Jack and Ennis and to alleviate the physical pain I have felt in the past four and a half years due to severe RSI.
The pain stole away my creativity and Jack and Ennis handed it back to me with a huge grin on their faces...

Here are the first 6 chapters...

Chapter 1: http://rightwhere-u-r.livejournal.com/1313.html
Chapter 2: http://rightwhere-u-r.livejournal.com/1705.html
Chapter 3: http://rightwhere-u-r.livejournal.com/1961.html
Chapter 4: http://rightwhere-u-r.livejournal.com/2140.html
Chapter 5: http://rightwhere-u-r.livejournal.com/2452.html
Chapter 6: http://rightwhere-u-r.livejournal.com/2727.html

Comments and constructive criticism here or on my livejournal are more than welcome!!!  :)

Yay for posting! I'm so glad to see this here!  :-*
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

Thank you guys!  ;D

Why is this so nerve-wrecking?

Because you are sharing a piece of yourself. It is like singing in public. That's nerve wracking, too.

I read this bit by bit this week and I'm completely swept away.   Not only a wonderful story, but a wonderfully written story, full of really great details and images.

Looking forward to more . . .

Thanks,
Marie
