forum is coming out with their own book, a compiliation of the best of their forum.  Oh well, I'm sure it will be very thorough as they've done a good job overthere with many discussions.  I might buy the book.  The author is listed as the "Ultimate Brokeback Moutain Forum." I thought we were the ultimate BBM forum! ;)

I am not sure this is a "beat us to the punch" situation. They have been working on the book for months (almost a year) and there have been more than a few upheavals throughout the process. That's not uncommon with an all volunteer effort, although I understand that they did bring in some professional editors at one point to get the project on track. I am glad to see the project has been completed successfully and I encourage folks who are interested, to support this effort by buying the book.

I think it's a fine way to memorialize the Brokeback experience for people.  I am all for people using whatever they can to not let the film and its impact slip away.

I think that was the name of their forum before BetterMost even existed.  So it's grandparented in.  :)  But seriously, thanks for letting us know that the book is still on track.  Maybe it will be out by the time of the Brokeback BBQ in Colorado.  It would be cool to look at it with fellow Brokies.

It may be for sale there, as well as Daniel's book, and maybe Annie Proulx's book about the Red Desert.
