Happy Birthday all my friends! Today, for the first time in many many days, I have CT open on my desk at work feeling much of the same excitement I felt a year ago when we moved to our new home. This year will certainly go down in history for me as one of the most important of my life. I found the movie that is, and will always be, the cinematic high point for me; two characters, Ennis delMar and Jack Twist, that live in me and are on my mind every day; realizing that I may not be the shy, withdrawn person I've always imaged myself to be-maybe I can get an amen from you Brokies that now know me
; suffered some incredible sadness and loss here but more than mitigated by the happiness that you bring me.
I don't know that I will ever recapture the excitement of of those early days but the mellow happiness that remains is good enough for me.

rouxb ( 4 years ago I treated myself to a new car. I bought a red 2003 Honda CR-V and named it Ruby. I wanted it to be gender neutral so I changed the spelling to Roux (red)b=Ruby. Rouxb Calvina to be exact. The nickname became mine as well for a few friends and thus was the I that is me born.
