Well, I could take the camera to work today also, but since both saturday and sunday morning sunrises will happen when I'm off at work, I can't promise anything. But I'll sure make a go of it.

Excellent Idea
Bettermost Sunrise Project, April 15^th
My sunrise will be at 6:21 in our Newfoundland time zone.
and it should be partly cloudy, might make for a nice sunrise.
No Promises, but I'm setting my alarm clock for this one.

Next Sunday the 22^nd of April is Earth Day
so maybe the photos on the 15^th can be a precursor for Earth Day, when we can post a photo of our area, taken any time of the day, or even stolen from some other source in our area.  Everyone could do that one.
mmm that means I have to be up at 5:30 to get a good vantage point.

just a reminder....you do NOT have to be naked! LOL!...that was just a silly thing we did one time that gave me the idea for the project! I don't want to find out anyone got arrested cause of this!! 

 

and it doesn't matter if you think it is a good picture or if there is bad weather...that is kinda the whole point...the sunrise is not all the same all over the world.

looking forward to seeing all the pics!!

oh, and someone asked if they could take their picture away from their house...that is fine if you don't want to show your own street for personal reasons...

I better bow out for sure now.  That way if I DO wind up doing it, it will be a lovely surprise, rather than the more likely won't do it, and be disappointing.

Sunrise near Sydney Australia.  Taken from 6.15 am onwards. 




You can just see a sliver of the moon in this one.  And the eyes of one of my dogs!



A few minutes later.



The next ones were taken from different directions over the next 1/2  hour as the sun rose and lit up the trees.
