A cannon piece, filling in moments exploring Jack's thoughts on all those long drives from Childress to the mountains. Warning, it's cannon so it's also dead!Jack, but it's also about as beautiful as anything Maggie has ever written. She's in the middle of the sequel, Night Fire, which is the companion piece from Ennis' POV

Glad to hear she's writing a companion piece from Ennis's POV - looking forward to it.

Thanks,
Marie
